Coretek 360

Telecom IT asset disposition for network and field hardware.

Every retired router and returned customer device still holds something. Coretek 360 collects switches, routers, servers, and customer premises equipment from every site, with CPNI destroyed to NIST 800-88 and documented by serial.

Network hardware and CPE retired with CPNI protected.

Network and field equipment is inventoried by site, collected under chain of custody, and sanitized to NIST 800-88. The serialized report supports your FCC CPNI safeguards and state privacy laws.

  1. Network Inventory

We inventory retired switches, routers, optical transport, OSS and BSS servers, technician laptops, and returned customer premises equipment by site. Every device that stored configurations or customer data is flagged.

    • Central offices and field sites
    • Configurations and customer data
    • Every device by serial number
  2. Secure Collection

Equipment is collected from central offices, field sites, and warehouses in tracked vehicles under documented chain of custody, palletized where volumes call for it.

    • Central offices, field sites, and warehouses
    • Palletized removal
    • Chain of custody documented throughout
  3. Data Sanitization

Storage and configuration data are wiped to NIST 800-88 and verified, or the media is shredded, so customer proprietary network information and network credentials cannot be recovered. Shredding is done in house by Coretek 360. It is not yet covered by our R2v3 certificate, and we are actively working to add it.

    • Wiped to NIST 800-88 and verified
    • Shredded when media must not survive
    • A certificate for every serial number
  4. Remarketing & Recycling

Switches, routers, servers, and customer premises equipment with life left in them are tested, refurbished, and resold through our sales channels, with the value returned to you. Everything else goes to R2v3 certified downstream processors, as a RIOS Certified Recycler.

    • Working hardware refurbished and resold
    • Value returned to you
    • R2v3 certified downstream recycling
  5. Audit Ready Reporting

A final report accounts for every device by serial number, with a certificate of data destruction for each drive. It is ready for your security, compliance, and asset management teams and any CPNI review.

    • Every serial number accounted for
    • Certificates of data destruction
    • Evidence for CPNI reviews

Frequently asked questions.

Direct answers on the rules you answer to, the hardware we take, and the records you keep.

How does equipment disposal fit with our FCC CPNI safeguards?

FCC CPNI safeguards and state privacy laws stay the carrier's responsibility when network hardware is retired. Coretek 360 supports them by making sure storage and configuration data are wiped to NIST 800-88 and verified, or the media is shredded, so customer proprietary network information and network credentials cannot be recovered. Every device is documented by serial number.

Can you take switches, routers, and returned customer premises equipment?

Telecom network and field hardware is retired together in one inventory. Coretek 360 takes equipment such as switches, routers, optical transport, OSS and BSS servers, technician laptops, returned customer premises equipment, and more. Everything is inventoried by site, and every device that stored configurations or customer data is flagged for sanitization.

What records do we get for a CPNI review?

For a CPNI review, Coretek 360 provides two records. The certificate of data destruction per serial number shows the drive serial number, the NIST 800-88 method used, and the date. The serialized asset report shows custody, make and model, sanitization method, and final disposition, resale or recycling, for every asset, ready for your security, compliance, and asset management teams.

Do you pick up from central offices, field sites, and warehouses?

Pickups for telecom equipment cover central offices, field sites, and warehouses. Coretek 360 collects from each location in tracked vehicles under documented chain of custody, and loads are palletized where volumes call for it. Equipment with life left in it is tested, refurbished, and resold, with the value returned to you.
